Item: | 1951 Packard Patrician 400 |
Price: | $4,999.00 |
Description: | 1951 was a stellar year for Packard, and the 24th series Patrician 400 won several awards for its design. This particular Packard was first purchased in Arizona and then driven by original owner to California, where it has resided ever since. Present owner is the fourth to possess the auto. Engine runs well, odometer reads 75,046, radio still works(!), transmission was replaced (but can slip in Low if going up very steep incline), original hubcaps, 6-volt system, all chrome trim (and some extra trim and extra bumper), tires are good; fuel pump and master cylinder were replaced little over a year ago. Body is straight (one slight dent on left, upper rear corner panel) and car appears to have original paint; upholstery needs restoration. All in all, a good car that just needs some TLC for someone who wants a classic Packard. "Ask the man who owns one..." |
